OLQ-information

Hi,

OLQ is the online query which is used to search the data. Is is possible to to have "AND" or "OR" for the same field.

Say in the database we have a field called service code, can we search for two or more codes using AND or OR condition.

Please let me know if you guys need more information on this.

What have you tried? What happened?

Every query language i've used (more than a dozen) support and/or one way or another. The syntax may vary, but the functonality is there.

When you run a test query and there either an error raised or incorrect results occur, post the query and the problem. If there is an error message, also post the message id.

To enter the condition to specify the value to be searched we need to use the following command:

OLQ -> signon ss u212da10 -> menu

None of my current sites has idms installed, so i cannot experiment.

What does the online help say? The manual?

Suggest you open an issue with CA Support.

Hi Deepak...

U can seach for more service codes in OLQ.

In the bottom of the OLQ.

Give 'Y' ,Proceed to Selection Criteria Screen? Y Y/N

then enter..

It will display query selection screen.
there u can mention which field u need select more.

TJKD =04001 or TJKD =04002 or TJKD =04001

like this u have to mention.

Please let me know if u r not clear.

its working fine for OR but for AND i am not getting any records
