hi all,
i am having a member in a PDS. i have to search for a particular string say..... HOW RU..... Now if the string is found then i have to execute one set of instructions and if not found then another set of instructions. |

Hi Mani,
If you want to change the string into something go for the fileaid.
There is the option for search/update.

you can write an ispf edit-macro with all the commands you need
and you know from editing...
