Can we sort first 6 rows in a particular order and next 5 in another order through cobol or jcl

yes it is feasible thru cobol...
and IBM's ICETOOL should be able to do this.

Hi nandini,
Your request sounds like a classroom assignment or homework. It might be more helpful if you stated the "business" problem you're trying to solve. There may be a better alternative than sorting 5 recs and 6 other recs in differing sequences.
