Hi

I used the below mentioned card in instream for SDSF.
I am not able to interpret the below.
PRE job**
OWNER ownername
ST
FIND jobname LAST
++?
FIND JESYSMSG
++S
PRINT ODSN 'MY.LOG.JOBNAME' * NEW
PRINT

1. What does '++' mean in '++?' and '++s'..?
2. How to interpret the card.?
3. What does 'NEW' mean in '* NEW'..? Does it indicate the disposition of the DSN??
4. If i just change 'NEW' to 'SHR' the job runs fine but the dataset gets emptied out...?

Thanks
Prabhu

hi,
Can please explain it in detail?
it feels like some dataset you are using and it relates to some database also

Hopefully you know what you mean, because I for one do not.

This is a question on SDSF being processed in batch, for which the manual gives an excellent overview of the answers required by the OP.
