Getting Problem in SRCHFOR - Lowercase letters

Hi All,

I am using 'SRCHFOR word' in the 'command' to search for a word inside a PDS having some 50 members.

When i am searching for a Lowercase word (Profile - CAPS OFF), it is displaying 'string(s) not found' though it is found in few members as Lowercase word.

Could you help me how to find a lowercase word using this quick method?

Note:
1) I don't prefer 3.14 option as i need to submit a job each and every time (but if there is no solution, i have to follow this :-( )
2) I shouldn't convert all the lowercase to uppercase.

I suppose You are issuing the srchfor command from a member list...
if You issue the command without parameters You will presented with the
panel where You can set the srchfor preferences

Hi Anuj,

When SRCHFOR is issued in the command line in a memberlist of a PDS, 'Member list srchfor options' panel would come. In this panel, we need to choose 'ANY CASE' option. once it is set, we can search for a lowercase letters without any problem.
