Hi,

Could any one tell me how can i get my PDS member's contents which was accidentely replaced with unwanted data by some one?

Someone has changed the contents of my PDS member? could i get the original one?

hi vinit_infty,

It is possible if only your shop has a backup for the PDS.

Try this command:

TSO HLIST BCDS DSN ('Dataset Name')


If you have backup for your PDS.........U can recover with the command

TSO HRECOVER 'XXXX.XXXX.XXXX' GENERATION(2) -? to get the day before y?day backup

Note: If your shop don't have backup...then it can't be recovered.

I use TSO RECOVER since my shop permits that. The significance is you need not restore to the same dataset; you can mention another private dataset where you want the version before update must be restored to. Of course, this also works, as Vamsi's, only if your shop takes backups.
