When any job through error in OPC, Alarm should ring

HI,

I am new to Rexx programming.i need some suggestions regarding my requirment.

My requirment is when any job through error in OPC alarm should ring(alarm means session alarams) .ALARAM=yes

is it possible in REXX?
if possible give me some suggestion how it possible....i dont want any code...

Hi I think this is possible in REXX/UNIX i hope it is not possible in REXX and mainframes.

What do you mean by an "alarm"? ISPF can use a .alarm event to cause a beep through your 3270 emulator to your desktop. Only you are going to be able to hear it, though.
