Hi all,

We have 'cls'(clear screen) command in REXX for windows environment. What is the corresponding command for mainframe environment (OS/390 or VM).

Could you please let me know this..

Not out of the box (think about it - why would you realistically need such a function?).

You do have some options, though. On FILE300 of the CBT Tape (www.cbt.org) is a couple of programs: one called CLRSCRN and one called KOMM. They are designed for 3270 terminals, so I personally have no idea if they work on a 3270 emulator's screen.

Option 2, if you wish, is to use the ISPF display CONTROL parameter, I think someting like "ISPEXEC CONTROL LINE START(1)".
