Hi All,

If my PDS is having a long name say
USERID.XYXDATE.PQRST.MNOP

Is it possible to give a nick name to this PDS and when I give the nick name in 3.4 is it possible to show this PDS?

Hi Srivatsa,
By REXX ur problem can be solved. Against ur real DSN, set a nick name and put it in a dataset. Then ur REXX will refer the dataset and find the real DSN by reading the nick-name. Then it will open the DS in which mode u want to open
