Hi,

I'm getting this IMS user abend 'U3790'. Can anyone tell why it is coming and how can i solve this?

That is most likely an application user abend, not an IMS abend.

Thanks for correcting.....yes its an application user abend, what can be the cause for this abend and how can it be solved?

Susheel singh,

This means that the application, your application, at your site, is using that particular code identify a particular terminal problem. Without looking at your code, I don't think we can have a clue. As NicC suggests, look at the message produced, fiind that in the program. Or find the setting of that particykar User Abend Code in the program.

The cause will likely be faulty data, or a data combination which is not handled by the program.

Thanks for the info guys.......actually, I looked at the sysdumps for analysing it and i found For 4th sep dump, it is showing some ims status code 'GE' segment not found and for 7th sep dump, it is showing ims status code 'II' which means duplicate segment insert.....
