Hi Priyesh,
I really don't know how to find the current version of IMS. I tried but I couldn't.
So I suggest you ask the tech support team who installed it which
version they installed. I think this is the simplest and only way you can do it.
Correct me if I am wrong. |

1 way to find the version (and this is installation dependent) is to check out where the IMS system files are installed to . e.g. IMSEXE81.ACBLIB implies that hte current version is 8.1
another way is to logon to the IMS DC region. The version number will be displayed there. Again this is installation dependent. |

Hi Priyesh,
I think this should work.
IMS should have a started task running. If you open the JESMSGLG, you should have a message indicating the current version of IMS.
Hope this helps. |

Submit a job to list contents of DBRC Recon data sets. Example:
LIST.SUBSYS ALL
The resulting listing will indicate the version of IMS. Example:
IMS VERSION 8 RELEASE 1 DATA BASE RECOVERY CONTROL PAGE 0001 |
