There are many processes to be done in Changeman :
1. U need to check out the program from the baseline - if u r going to modify an existing one.
2. Change the program and test it.
3. Stage it. According to the language, it will submit the necessary Compile JCL.
4. Auditing should be done. For this also, a JCL would be submitted.
5. Then Freeze the code.
6. Promote it.
At this stage, it would be in UAT. After successful UAT testing, it can moved to production. EAch company will have its own tools and procedures to do. Some will use Infoman to raise the request. Check in your company.
