How is this utility -PTLDRIVM used ? and whats the difference between PTLDRIVM/ADUUMAIN ?

Well, according to a Google search, PTLDRIVM is the "Platinum Fast Unload" which is part of the "CA Unicenter Database Management Solutions for DB2 for z/OS", and ADUUMAIN is the "BMC Unload Plus for DB2".

My gut feeling is that you should contact each vendor to review the similarities, differences, and capabilities of each product.

Hi Anuwright,


As superk pointed out like these tools are third party tools or vendor specific. Some shops might use these tools. One case is that you can get into their site and get more information about the tool. As third party tools are very expensive most of the organisation use their own built-in tools.
