i defined two vsam files thru jcl.
and when i try to open the files in the program ,it is returning status code 35 for file1 and 39 for file2.could any one explain me briefly on this.

35 : Attampting to OPEN an EMPTY FILE in INPUT or I/O MODE.
DD NAME IS MISSING OR WRONGLY GIVEN.
