Is it possible to know whether the program updates the database at the time of exceution..help me in this.

Its possible in DBMON.you can view the count of records too.

DBMON is db2 monitoring command.
In TSO,issue DBMON and then press enter twice.

You people are diverting the topic, what dbamain asked in ims i think but you people are diverted to db2 and explaining the command.

oops.i misunderstood the topic again.sorry for that.Thanks for noting it.I am not sure whether ims has such features to view the updation at the time of execution.
