Reputed institution that gives IBM mainframes coaching

Hi friends,
I am searching for a reputed institution that gives IBM mainframes coaching in Chennai. I am interested in the institutes which will give good coaching and campus selections.I enquired about LUMARIA,FLORIDA,MAPLES and MAXSOFT Chennai I found that will conduct course. And I got various views about the institutions at chennai. Will anyone help me in giving details about these and also FLORIDA or Lumaria, MAxSOFT ..

I would be grateful if people who did IBM mainframes in chennai and got jobs inform me about the institutions.and also some useful information about Lumaria I am in urgent need of information.

i learnt mainframes on workbench. i am wellversed jcobol,jcl,vsam,db2,cics.i did my mca on 2002. i did 't receive any calls. will u show any openings for me.i will give ur processing fee.
i have good acodemic record,but cn't know how to approach.

Hello ganesh_24,

Do the following:

1) First of all register yourself with one of the job sites like

www.Naukri.com
www.monsterindia.com
www.jobsahead.com

2) Prepare your CV in a good format

3) Upload it to these sites

4) Search for the jobs as per your profile
Ex...
Keyword: mainframe
Exp: 0
Location: Any
etc.

Also target your prospective employer and apply them on their site.

5) Study for the aptitude tests.

6) Before going for the interview with the targetted employer...give some 2-3 other companies interviews, this will give you a better idea as what questions will be asked etc.

This will definately give you the success.

Hi Dharmarajan
I am just putting my opinion. It does effect more where ever you do.It depends upon you.How you are dedicated.B'Coz most of the institute are providing the same things and their is no much difference .
Most of them also can arrange 2-3 calls for you and you have to make it by own.So if you want to do MAinframe course do it quickly.Don't waste time.
