| EIBTIME will contain the time when the transaction started while ASKTIME will return the current system time. |

initially EIBTIME contains the time of the initiation of the transaction.
in order to get the current time, we need to issue the ASKTIME command which populates the time field with the current system time. |

Well, according to the fine manual, it is the time when the task was started. In addition, it seems that ASKTIME actually updates EIBDATE & EIBTIME.
