01 A PIC 9(4)COMP VALUE 32232.
01 B PIC 9(5).
In PD can i write
MOVE A to B.

Why would you think you couldnt move numeric data to another numeric field?

Hello,

To go a bit further - depending on compiler options, your 5-digit value might not "fit" in a 9(4) definition.
