override the sortout file to DUmmy

I have a proc which has a SORT step , which gives two output file ,say
sortout1 and sortout2.

Now I want only one SORTOUT file, and want to set the other as DUMMY.
How should I give the override through JCL?

Suppose I dont want SORTOUT2 of STEP010 ,
in my JCL i have mentioned
//STEP010.SORTOUT2 DD DUMMY

but i am getting SORTOUT NOT DEFINED

the problem is solved now, it was a problem of ACNTL mismatch. thanks

BTW, what is ACNTL ?
