Has IBM introduced any new instruction called "LT"??
Previously we were having a user written macro "LT" which is nothing but ICM with a mask of 15.
Very recently our shop migrated to z/OS 1.7 and suddenly when we tried to compile our old assembler programs, in the listing we found the following details for LT instruction,
| Quote: |
| 0001D2 E342 0000 0012 00000 599 LT R4,0(R2) GET |
Clearly "E3" is not the opcode for ICM instruction. I did a search on POPS but was unsuccessful in finding any details about LT instruction. |

Maybe You were looking at the wrong level of the docs...
SA22-7832-06 has it as LOAD AND TEST |

Very true the version of POPS that I had seems to be a bit old. Thanks for the pointer. |
