Display to SPOOL in PL/1

Hi ALL,

Please let me know the usage of Display in PL1 and difference between Put List statement. I tried writing Display('Hello') but it is not printing in the spool.

Please help me. thanks in adv.

Might you receive a message somewhere in the output that says something like "SYSPRINT DD STATEMENT MISSING"? If you do, add a SYSPRINT DD statement.

If not, you might look on the console log. If this isdisplaying on the operator console, you will want to discontinue using display - i believe you can do what you need using "put list".
