CKDSF utility to extend the VTOC entry

I used ICKDSF utility to extend the VTOC entry for an 3390-3 volume. After using that utility the VTOC entry got deleted and i cant able to see the newly created extended VTOC entry. Please find the command what i used..
REFORMAT UNIT(xxxx) VERIFY(serial) EXTVTOC(new size)

NOTE: while using this command, i offline the specific volume..

Please help me in this....

Have you looked at the volume via 3.4 V and seen what the VTOC looks like ?

I assume that the volume is still usable

Hi..thanks for your response...the problem is solved now..

Reason for the problem is i didnt specify EXTINDEX parameter in the JCL..
