Hi,

I need to increment a sequence no in a file which is S9(09) COMP.
I am using selcopy to increment sequence no and write it to output file.
For this i am using a temporary parm file in which i am storing the sequence number.

First, I am storing a value of 2 in the parm file and this value i am trying to convert to packed decimal and moving it to output file but the value in the output file is 44 for corresponding 000000002.

can you please explain me what happening in CVCP and i checked in
www.cbl.com for selcopy manual ,i got very less info regarding this.
