Hi all,

This is an interview question asked in one of my interviews.

The table has a last column with data-type VARCHAR. I need to add the new column to the table. Should i add the new column to the end of the table keeping the thing in mind that last column is VARCHAR.

Is this recomended?

Any other alternate to this?
Where as what i have seen in tables in my organisation data-type VARCHAR is very much avoided.
