Hi,

SuperC is a fast and versatile compare program that processes two
sequential data sets, two complete partitioned data sets (PDS), members
from two PDSs, or concatenated data sets. You can also compare data
sets of unlimited size and record lengths at the file, line, word, or
byte level.

SuperC requires only the names of the input data sets. However, you can
enter additional processing options to personalize the results. ISPF
utilities provide a convenient panel interface for specifying program
input parameters. Standard ISPF help panels are available as well as the
option to directly browse the compare results at your terminal.

in SuperCE you can give some more condition than superC, like in that you can mention
Compare Type -- that is whether you want to compare on basis of
1. File -- Checks source data sets and determines if they are different.
2. Line -- Compares source data sets at the line level for differences.
3. Word -- Compares source data sets for word differences.
While checking throug file the XWDCMP process option extends the delimiters to all non-alphameric characters
4. Byte -- Compares source data sets for differences at the byte level.

and Listing Type and Display Output. Compare type is very helpfull which is not present in SuperC.
