Hello

How to change the retention period of a existing DSN?

It can be a GDG or flat file. Is it possible to change the retention period.

Thanks

Yes and no, depending on the level of control that is in place at your shop.

First port of call would be the storage admin people to see if they have implemented a retention strategy which is set up in such a way that you can not override it without their help.
