how to know owner of dataset

hi all
suppose someone created one ps in my id from his id then how can i find out the owners name ,who created that.

There is no "ownership" of datasets, only access rights to those datasets from RACF. The quick answer is no, there's no way to determine what user ID created a dataset.

Per superk, there is no high level utility that will tell you who created the dataset. To obtain the required information, it involves some work. The method I have used in the past for Performance and Security Auditing is as follows:

Your site may be collecting SMF datasets (this is a system audit log).
Everyday we dump SMF datasets (mostl SMF record types) to tape, filter out the SMF record types (and fields) we need via SAS and MXG and create a cumulative SAS/MXG (SMF fields) database. We then run SAS reports against it like CICS, DB2, RACF violations, restricted-datasets acccess etc.. Some of these reports will tell you who created, modified (last access) etc. attributes. Please talk to your system programming staff for more info on SMF data (it is a site specific policy). I hope this helps!

I'm in accord with you Pelad...
I think that SMF is the best method to know everything... but It's only for System Admin or particular group....
An applicative user that know this information is a very bad client!
