the requirements have changed, haven' t they ??
and remember used percentage is in terms of allocation units...
a dataset allocated in cylinders with only one record in it will show a 100% utilization |

Can i get only a command to free the unused space in datasets using rexx??

Yes it was not for release. I tried another dataset and it worked.
