subprograms using DB2 but mainprogram is not using DB2

Hi

This is Seshu

Any body please clarify this

"In my main program does not contain any db2 statements but my sub program contain db2 stetements"

I want to execute this, what should i do?

i mean i have to precompile both programs or not?

please clarify this

Hi Seshu!

Just precompile and bind the subprogram. Compile the main program as a normal program.

Main program has to be initialized with IKJEFT01, and it should then work.
