In part I agree with McMillan. I believe that we may not need a separate forum for students and freshers provided that information exchange limitations could be inforced withing this forum by readily identifying these members.[/list] |

Hi,
what constitues a student or fresher ?
My question could just as easily entail the same information that a student or fresher poses, so which forum am I expected to use ?

From what i've seen, you're good right here
You might look at the otherforum and reply to some of the topics. Once the official launch, i expect there will be many opportunities there. |

Separate forum for freshers is not required at this time, I think the forum is quite well managed till now. At a later date, when it gets difficult, I would be a good idea.
Having a separate forum, we shall need a new set of moderators also which may dilute the substance of this forum. So in my view, for now, we should continue with a common forum. |

Hi All,
Every one is a student thats why we have this fourm. There is no good or bad student.
Let us help the fresher become real professional progressively. Let's not bias once learning by having a seperate window.
Even some stupid questions, helps us to refresh our basic concepts.
Regards,
Sai Sridar S

It's not a bad idea to place separate forum for freshers but most of times people who wants to learn more might have chance to miss the indepth knowledge becoz for fresher forums, every one always try to answer as simple.
Becoz we got search facility, I believe 'asking any duplicate posting to search is not a rude. It's just an redirecting the question.
I guess most of us have to understand "Saying NO doesn't mean we are bad/wrong" it's just to redirect our question. |

| Yes, students and freshers have lots of different types of questions which can only be asked by them. This forum will anwer those questions and help them learn the Mainframe technologies in an effective way. |
