what is diff between spufi and qmf?
2. how can we create gdg through tso option?
3. how to copy 1 van fil to anothe vsam file with out using jcl?
how copy the tso option?
4.i have 10 job steps, if step1 abnormal temanation , execute
step4 , if sucessful step 1 execute ,step 5 howcan write jcl?
5. i have sel;eced record db2 table , how to pass the data files?
6.i specified joblib, steplib both job and exec stamemnt which one ignored?
7.how to halt the jcl? |

You can define a GDG base entry by using the TSO DEFINE GDG command.
You can create a new generation of an existing GDG with the TSO ALLOC command.

I don't know what a "van fil" is (Jeez - don't you folks believe in spell checkers!), but I presume you mean "VSAM file". When you say "without using JCL", I presume that you mean to say "without using a batch job". In that case, you can certainly run the IDCAMS program in your TSO session, or you can use the TSO REPRO command. |

QMF is formated form where as spufi is unformatted.
Spufi is faster as compared to QMF.WE can submit more then one queries in Spufi.
