I got to know that there is checksum attribute which is used to keep track of changes to DB2 tables. Can anyone suggest how to use this checksum in cobol program to get the rows that got changed after during database updated.

Hi pjugali,

Though I am not completely sure about the checksum attribute but what I know is that it is a connection attribute. I don't think we could be able to use checksum in COBOl program.

My suggestion is if you want to track the database update you can write one trigger that would insert data in seperate table of the updated rows.

If anyone knows more about checksum please give some link.

Regards,
