What are you looking for not covered in that link?

It sounds like you have somethng particular in mind, but have not posted what it is. If you provide some details, someone may have better suggestions.

How would I use to check for locks over the tables ?
A sample jcl will be helpful.

You might check with your dba(s), but locks can be displayed without this (look at "dis db").
