while edting a member when I try to insert I get locked. its bcoz all the position on right are filled with space. When I want to insert need to go to the end of the line press the del key for sometime then i get the space.

Please let me know how to resolve this issue. May be related to profile change.

Thanks.

When in your edit session, type PROFILE on the command line.

Look for NULLS. If you see NULLS OFF, type NULLS ON on the command line. The parameter should changed to NULL ON STD.

Try inserting your characters again.

If you press PF1 for HELP, look for:
8 - Display modes (CAPS/HEX/NULLS)
to get an explanation of how NULLS work.

I'm not familiar with INSERT problems in the command line. I can only suggest doing Erase EOF and the end of your command prior to inserting into your command.
