my jcl contain 255 steps. in step225 i am calling one proc which also contain 255 steps .
Question is : whether the job will abend or not. |

Will it abend or not even start - JCL ERR?
Abend is not a loose term - it is a very specific IBM-defined term. |

that does not seem to matter to most of the forums participants.
JCL is another term which seems to have been expanded by this forum. |
