Hi,
I have Windows Vista installed on my Hp Laptop DV2100 and It has Core 2 Duo and Sata harddisl .

I want to install Linux without having any effect to Windows Vista..
Could anybody tell me the any linix version which supports this configuration..

Hi,

Red Hat Fedora You are installing? I've a little inforamation to share which came to my knowledge when I installed it on my system... One thing to care about is to provide the right serial no. for Your monitor if Desktop PC, in laptops I think there should be some no. for LCD display (not sure though). As Linux 'forces' the resolution of screen to set on particular settings..if no. is not properly provided it may cause harm to Your systam.
