What exactly do u mean by process here? Do you want the methodolgy followed for IMS-DB2 conversion or you want the tools for doing so?

I involved in a migration project to convert IMS programs to DB2.

Each IMS GU call will be replaced by SELECT statement with primary key.

IMS GN call will be replaced by cursors.

There is no alternative for GNP calls. It should be replaced by approriate SELECT statements.

ISRT call - INSERT in DB2

DLETE call - DELETE in DB2
