Hi all:

I wonder:
1. How to customize the panel issued by "TSO SDSF"
2. Is "SDSF" a TSO command?

Thanks a lot!

hy autobox,

1. go to SDSF press HELP, there is all the information you need.
2. yes normally it is implemeted like this (fastpath), but SDSF is a program also.

tip: try it out, posting this question needs more time.

Thanks for your great help!
1. But, in the panel issued from "TSO SDSF", there is not a actionbar. Also, I can not issue some commands in it, such as "SET ...".
2. How can I change the "TSO SDSF" to issue another SDSF panel which have actionbar and can issue commands?

Hi,

Just type SDSF from ur ISPF panel instead of TSO SDSF.
I guess then u will get the customize options.
Try and let me know if its correct.

Thanks,
KS

Hi KS,

Issue "SDSF" from the command line will prompt a error message "Invalid command".
I doubt that maybe there are diffenert ALIASs called when issuing the SDSF, one issues the panel with actionbar, and the other without. How can I change the "TSO SDSF" definition to call the ALIAS to issue the SDSF panel with the actionbar?

Thanks a lot

May be then diff in the settings of Mainframe. It works fine for me this way.
Anyways please try using another command F;ST on the ISPF command prompt , which does the same function like that of SDSF.

Thanks,
KS

I know it's the old message, but I know the truth:
The problem that user switched off action bar via action bar and now he doesn't know how to return it back.

The right command is : SET SCREEN and then set 1 to show AB.

That isn't "the truth" :)

TSO SDSF invokes the non-ISPF version of SDSF which does its own 3270 presentation. The version started with an ISPF option or command table entry (which differs at every shop!) starts the ISPF version and that can be customized with the SET command or by changing the ISPF panels.
