1) Why we need JCL?

2) What types of Errors u hve faced ? How to solve it?

3) How to solve S0c7, sb37,sd37,se37 errors in realtime?

4) how to fix bugs? How to run pgms in realtime?

where from you are getting all these questions.Instead of posting this again as a seperate topic why dont you post this in the previous one itself.

1.why we need JCL
I think this is the first thing you will learn when you are learning JCL,right!!

2.Dont you remember the errors you faced.This question is for yourself.

3.SOC7--for this check all the possible causes like:

SUBSCRIPT ERROR,
REFERENCED BEYOND TABLE COBOL
WORKING STORAGE NOT INITIALIZED-
BAD DATA
SHOULD CHECK DATA FOR ERRORS
GARBAGE IN A FIELD BEING TESTED OR DISPLAYED
MOVE ZEROES TO GROUP LEVEL IS DISPLAY
HAD SUBLEVELS THAT WERE NOT
PERIOD MISSING AFTER IMPERATIVE STATEMENTS WITHIN AT END CLAUSE
BINARY FIELD IN AN ARITHMETIC OPERATION IS NOT LARGE ENOUGH TO ACCEPT RESULT

otherwise than checking offset and all simply expedite and find out the cause

SB37,Sd37 and SE37 are all related to space abends.Increase the size of dataset to resolve

4.Fixing bugs depends on the kind of error you got. If you need to expalin this for interviewers take some example and tell them how you fix.
