Hi everybody!
We are developing the new application that will replace the old legacy. The new application is COBOL, CICS, and DB2. The old application is running in IMS, COBOL, and DB2.
The strategy for the cohabitation is that some old programs will be called for the new programs until the new application is built completed. We have some doubts about how to call programs in COBOL running in IMS from CICS, is it possible? And the big question, what about the performance?
Thanks for your time! |

You could try FEPI , but this normally requires someone at
Systems Programming level.
look into various software products. |
