| When there is a new online transaction created, IMS must be regenerated, is it true? |

Hi,
You already have one thread on the same topic -
http://www.ibmmainframes.com/viewtopic.php?t=32557&highlight=regenerate
I don't speak much IMS these days, however, check this link -
http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocenter/adiehelp/index.jsp?topic=/com.ibm.etools.ctc.ims.doc/ref/rimscompat.html
and check for "Regenerating code for existing applications".
hope this helps.. |

Thanks but this is not what I meant.
Because I can see the transaction definitions in IMS regeneration stage 1 input dataset, I assume that a regen is requried whenever there is a change to the transactions.
Maybe i am totally wrong. Can someone give some help?
Thanks? |

| Are you talking about ACB gen? If so, then when adding a new transaction, it must be included in the ACB gen. |
