Hi,

I created one DDM for my program and in that DDM, we have 6 super descriptors available. Now, while creating the Adabas files, by importing that DDM, some Super Descriptors are missing.

Can anybody suggest me, how to resolve this issue.

Thanks,
Pavan

What do you mean by "importing that DDM"? How are you trying to "create" the ADABAS file?

Usually, the straightforward method is:
1. Defining ADABAS file
2. Generating DDM for that ADABAS file.

It looks like you run the process backwards.

Hi Ofer,

I am working on WINDOWS based Natural Adabas. So, first, I created the DDM in NATURAL and in Adabas, while creating the adabas file, it is not showing some super descriptors, which are declared in NATURAL.

Thanks,
Pavan

I'm not familiar with the Windows version of Natural & ADABAS, but here is a concept in ADABAS that might be helpfull: SuperDescriptors are not saved as part of the file's FDT (File Description Table), instead - they have their own special table called SDT (SuperDescriptor Description Table).
