Hi,
I am getting the below mentioned error in CHGMAN for package audit.
SYNCH5! (CPY high-date problem in baseline)
The error is shown for two copybooks in which i have introduced some new fields.
What is meant by high-date problem in baseline?
Could anyone please let me know the reason for this error.
Thanks. |

You might have CHECKed OUT your respective COPYBOOKs in your package long back, & meanwhile there had been some other release in your system, which caused the

Take a back-up of your updated COPY-BOOKs, delete them from your package, CHECK-OUT again, replace the data of newly checked-out COPY-BOOKs with back-ups. |

Hi,
Actually my audit is failing for two copybooks. These copybooks are there in two programs with the same name. One is an IMS program, other is an non-IMS program.
Earlier, we had the non-IMS version of this program which was chanegd to the IMS version. The non-IMS version is not used now, but it is still in the baseline library.
Can you please let me know if this is the reason for the audit failure?
Thanks. |

Rosmi,
See this post http://ibmmainframes.com/about21693.html
SYNCH5! - CPY problem in baseline. A staging version of a copy module has a more recent activation than the baseline version of the source module calling it.
Suggested Resolution: Recompile the baseline version of the source. |

Same names means what..name is same but the 'contents' are different... or the same COPY BOOK is used twice? |

Hi Dick,
It is not related to Casting, it is about AUDIT in Changeman.
Please refer Rosmi's qs, since my question is same as her qs, i didn't post the it.
Thanks and Regards

Hi Try
Auditing it with Auto recompile option = Y , first audit will fail and then audit it again without auto recompile then it should pass. |
