Hi,
I have to test some online programs.I have promoted the components in changeman.And now I need to test them.Can anybody help me in this matter.

Depending on what type of your Online program either CICS or IMS DC, go to your test region and then test the transaction/program.

What kind of help you are looking for?

- how to logon to online region
- what to enter in online region
- whether to debug using xpeditor
- how to initiate the transaction
- what transaction code should be entered to invoke ur program
- what data should be entered to test ur program
etc..etc

hi devzee.
I have to test a CICS program but i have absolutely no idea to go on after entering into the cics region and entering the transaction id.
how will the program be tested?is it by just giving the transcation id?and i have no idea abt testing the online program.I made some changes to this program and also the map and i need to test it.can u please help me in this?

Hi shchan,

The process for Testing the CICS program can be done thru by using the Xpediter or Intertest.... If u r using the Xpediter the Testing process is like this....Go into the CICS region, then Type XPED and then give ur Trans ID and start Testing.... i hope this clarifies dought...
