Hello all,

I am setting up xpeditor for the first time. We are using IDMS as the database. I was able to compile through xpeditor. I have set up the loadlib and ddio files. I am able to see the program in the execution window when i type go but it aborts with a message saying " unable to determine executable module". My question is does Xpeditor work with IDMS?. If so what do i do to set it up ?

Hi, While setting up Xpeditor for IDMS program execution we need to add steplib for each program. Giving the libraries in the JOBLIB will not be enuf. Please specify the steplib with load module libraries for proper execution.

Hi,
you can go thru the attached doc for setting up the xpediter correctly. I dont think you need a steplib. Please change the loadlibs, objlibs & idms libs according to yr system.

Hi, where can I find the "attached doc" mentioned in your post ? I'm asking because I'm reading from the archives and there's nothing on the note.

Hey as he said... U dnt need any steplib... Its nt mandatry...Check with adlibs are right..
