If possible can anyone share me documents regarding the same.

Thanks in Advance

Hi priyesh,

Here is what i was doing. I am trying to read the master file using a PL1 record layout.

I have given the DBD name, the XREF for the same and also a PL1 structure member for getting the data displayed in a formated way.
Fileaid accepted all the details which i gave in the DATABASE SPECIFICATION SCREEN'. in the next screen , i gave all the dataset and cluster details. This information was also correct and i was in the dbd view screen .

but when i select a segment to display the details ,. i am getting a error message that " NO PL/1 LAYOUT" and there are no details displayed.

I am not sure of the options to be enabled or given for getting the data in a formated way ( data based on the reciord structure) and that is where i need your help.

If you have any document that you could share with me regarding this , it will be very useful

Thanks in Advance

With Regards
