Populate XML file from DB2

Hi all,

I want to write XML file but the data is to be supplied from fetching rows from DB2 table.

Has anybody worked on such type of tasks?

Please let me know ASAP.

hy kanish,

if you write a xml does not matter,
it will be a sequential text file as output.
but what is now your actual question.
how to write such db2 statements or
how to write a file as xml?

I got it.

I need to write data fetched frm DB2 table directly to a flat file with all the hardcoded values resembling XML file.This flat file having all XML contents will then be encrypted using Megaencryption.

a xml is always a flat file, on all systems...
