hi,
can any one help me in applying a macro command to sort?? and the condition is the dataset which is being sorted must not be opened at the end of the operation but the sorting must be done properly in it. icon_cry.gif

Please post the ISPF macro code you have up to this point. Also, what are the parameters required for the sort (what columns? what order?).
