Delete/Rename a PDS after coming out of it

I want to execute a rexx that copies cut lines from an existing pds member to another member and exit from the current pds member and delete the pds from which i have exited.

Now i have cut lines from the pds
Copied contents to another pds member
i Have exit from current pds as well.

I need to delete the PDS that i have exit from..

When i try to do it says an catalog error...

Can anyone help me in this regard

Adding on to the Problem that i had ....it says catalog error

IDC3014I CATALOG ERROR+
IDC0551I ** ENTRY LST.LAKSH.TEST1 NOT DELETED

IDC3009I ** VSAM CATALOG RETURN CODE IS 102 - REASON CODE IS IGG0CLFM-7

Try to delete the dataset with the DELETE command, which is a TSO command, and well documented in the fine manual.
