Hi rashmi,
In IBM , you can use ADBGEN utility. there are different tools in different companies for DDL extraction.
Thanks

One quick way in mainframes: if you have access to ADBL(DB2 Administration Tool Set ) utility, after selecting the required table, You can type ddl in the command line and press Enter key to get the ddl of that table. |

hy rashmi,
how you want to extract the ddl,
in batch or online?
in online: go to the db2 administrator from
ispf primary option menu, choose option g.d.2.a
and before any object like table, tablespace, database....
you can type the line command ddl. the dialog will
extract this or at least will generate a job which will
do this. save that job for the next time so you can
use it also in batch....
